On 10 July 2022, Pastida Women’s Association, supported by the Region of South Aegean and DOPAR (Municipal Organisation of Rhodes for Culture and Sports), organised a successful event titled ‘Yesterday’s memories are hope for the future’.
Pastida Women’s Association mission is to promote cultural and intellectual development as well as keeping our cultural identity and heritage alive; it organised this event to highlight local customs.
The point was to revive wedding customs and traditions, including traditional local dishes, and to entertain locals and visitors.
