The 12th Yapraki Festival event is organised on 31 August at Agios Georgios, Salakos, with heaps of yaprakia (stuffed vine leaves), music and dancing.
The Yapraki Festival attracts the interest of culinary aficionados and experts beyond Rhodes and promotes Rhodian gastronomy to the rest of Greece and abroad.
The event is co-organised by the Region of South Aegean, ‘Spilaio’ Cultural Association of Salakos, the local Community of Salakos, and DOPAR (Municipal Organisation of Rhodes for Culture and Sports) under the auspices of the Federation of Cultural Associations of Rhodes.
