The first event of Rhodes International Festival was held in 2007 to upgrade the cultural identity of this beautiful place, to promote Cultural Tourism and to showcase the historic monuments and cultural heritage of the island.
The festival is organised by “Rhodes International Festival” NGO for the dissemination of the Arts and Greek Civilisation, DOPAR (Municipal Organisation of Rhodes for Culture and Sports) and the Region of South Aegean under the supervision of the Artistic and General Director Penelope Serdari, founder of the festival.
The festival has been recognised as one of the most successful events in Greek provinces. It has received wonderful reviews from Greek and international Media and attracts music lovers from Greece and abroad every year.
