‘NEA ZOE’ Cultural Association of Monolithos organises the annual Farmers and Animal Breeders Festival.
The event is usually held In July in the yard of the former elementary school of Monolithos.
People who attend the event can enjoy local dishes made with flair and love by village women. Food served includes goat cooked in a red sauce, dolmakakia (stuffed vine leaves), and other traditional delicacies.
On sale at various kiosks are traditional local products, such as cheeses, different breads and baked goods, home-made pasta, etc., made by Monolithos women who love and support ‘NEA ZOE’ Association.
Admission is free.
